WIJO (Women in Jazz Organization) will host a diverse panel of women and non-binary artists in jazz at the Jazz Education Network Conference. Panelists will speak on gender issues in jazz, reasons for underrepresentation in jazz, the impact of approaching jazz education with an inclusive and intersectional focus, and ways to promote equity and diversity in jazz through education.
